Bill Wambach of Sun Prairie will attempt to set the high jump record for the 80 & up age bracket of USA Track and Field on Sunday at the Badger State Games.
"I wasn't the star in college, but I outlived all the good guys," joked Wambach. He will compete with the "young kids", as he called them in the 70 & up division this Sunday at Mansfield Stadium at 10:30 am.
The goal is four feet which he reached twice in practice.
