For those that want to cheer on our athletes and to see them bring home the gold here are a few tips:
Best place to view the event & how much you can see: You can see the start and finish of each race and halfway of the longer race (43K).
Seating Available or bring your own chairs: No seating available bring your own chairs. There is seating inside the heated chalet.
Admission Fee: No admission fee.
Concessions: Dickey's Barbeque Pit will be our food vendor this year!
Carry-ins allowed (food &/or drink):
Are Signs or Noise makers allowed: Bells are encouraged.

Skate and Classic racing.
|Classic:||Technique characterized by opposite-leg and opposite-arm motion in a straight-ahead direction. In-the-track skiing only.|
|Skate:||Technique where the skier keeps the tips apart and the tails together and gets the kick by pushing off the inside edge of alternating skis (as in ice skating).|
|Freestyle:||Skating & classic techniques permitted for 4K and 1-2K events.|
|Open:||Ages 16 and above.|
All ages recreational skier. Come as you are, no fancy gear required. This event

The 43K Nordic Skiing event is once again recognized as a qualifier for the American Birkebeiner held in Cable, WI!
No increase in registration fees
We will be holding the 4k Blue Jeans Race for recreational skiers and individuals new to the sport. Come as you are, no fancy gear required.
This event is now open to residents of Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, and the Michigan Upper Peninsula.

The Official Badger State Winter Games T-Shirts will be available on-site and sold for $15.00. A $5.00 discount coupon will be provided to each athlete at check-in to reduce the T-Shirt price to $10.00.
