Winter Games Award Winners
Since 1989 thousands of individuals have taken part in the Winter Games; as a participant or volunteer. Each year we honor a few of those participants for their dedication to the Games and to their sport.

 Volunteer of the Year Award
The essential role of the volunteers cannot be overstated. It takes over 1,000 individuals to run the Games. Each year people from the local venues and communities in which the Games take place generously donate their time to help make the Games happen. Some people even travel to volunteer at this great Wisconsin tradition. This award was created to honor those that go above and beyond.
