Check-in:
Warm-up - 7:00 am

Start Time:
8:00 am – noon

(Running order is based on seed time. Seed time must be entered when registering.)

Note: A specific schedule will be included in all athlete confirmation letters. Swimmers for 800m are responsible for supplying person to count laps for them. There will be an on-site lottery drawing to fill any spots created by people dropping out of the 800 race. In order to be in the lottery swimmers need to be currently registered for another event.

General Rules:
United States Master Swimming (USMS) rules will apply. Only plastic containers allowed at the event. NO GLASS IN POOL AREA.

WISCONSIN RESIDENTS ONLY.

Format:
Limit of three individual events plus a relay. Relays will be formed at the meet. All events are timed finals. Electronic timing will be used for all events except 50m events. All events are pre-seeded except relays and the 800m.

*800 freestyle: Restricted to the first 32 entrants (seeded fastest to slowest).

Relays: On the day of the meet, registered athletes may sign up at poolside for participation in one relay. Relays have two age divisions: total team age below 160 years, total team age 160 years and above.

Seed times: Don’t use times for yards. A metered seed time for each event is required on the entry form. To convert yards to meters (m=yd x 1.1). If you do not have a seed time for an event, enter 99999. Please use the "Special Information" section of the entry form for USMS number and seed times. Do not call with updated times after your entry has been submitted. 

Divisions: (Age determined as of December 31, 2008)
For BSG and USMS purposes your age will be declared as of December 31, 2008. (EX: If you are 39 now and turn 40 anytime before 12/31/08, then you compete in the 40-44 age group for Badger State Games.)

Equipment:
USMS recognized meet.
USMS membership not required

Note: If you are registered with USMS please enter your current 2008 USMS number and seed times in the "Special Information" section of your registration. If you are not registered and wish to be, call Dick Pitman at 608-242-8125 or e-mail to dpitman@usms.org. You do not need to be registered with USMS to swim this event.
