Badger State Games Forms Partnership With When We Were Young Productions & Fox Sports North

Wisconsin Sports Development Corporation (WSDC), owners of the Badger State Games, announced today that they have teamed up with When We Were Young Productions and Fox Sports North to produce a Badger State Winter Games television show. The show will air across the state on Fox Sports North and locally in selected markets. Monetary support of the project is provided by the National Guardian Life Insurance Company.

The show will feature a "behind-the-scenes" look at the Badger State Winter Games and follow a few of the participants as they prepare for and compete in the Games. The show will also showcase all of the exciting action from both of the action-packed weekends.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for us to show off the Badger State Games to Wisconsin and to give our participants yet another way to enjoy the Games," stated Tim Allen, Marketing and Development Director for WSDC. "We're confident that viewers will enjoy the show, even if they didn't participate in the games themselves."

"This is just the beginning of our relationship," he added. "We're in the planning stages for our summer games as well."

The Badger State Winter Games will take place in Wausau and central Wisconsin on January 27th through 29th and February 3rd through 5th. For more information on the Games please visit www.badgerstategames.org.
